My Aunt gave me a bunch of yarn she had in her stash, among which was a lot of pink.  It was such pretty yarn, but no one over the age of 10 was going to be able to wear it without major stares, so I found a nice basic pattern 
here, and made a few variations on it.  There's one with a pom-pon, 

 one with ear-flaps and pom-pons, 

 and one with kitty ears (that Frank was kind enough to model for me) 

They're for the daughters of a woman that goes to our church.  They were fun to knit, I'm really loving hats!
